The 2016 National Conference on Geography Education is right around the corner! We at the KGA would like to inform you about sessions related to Geography Awareness Week and the Power of Parks that you might find worthwhile to attend!
Thomas Larsen and John Harrington (Lisa Tabor unable to attend) will present "Trying to Control Chaos? Put It 'In Park': Managing a Successful Geography Awareness Week." The interactive talk will be held on Friday (Jul. 29, 11:00am-12:15pm, Salon J).
Brenda Barr and Elaine Larson of the National Geographic Society will be presenting on Saturday (Jul. 30, 8:00am-9:15am, Salon H) in a talk entitled "Geography Awareness Week--Explore: The Power of Parks!"
