Following the 2016 theme, “The Power of Parks”, this workshop enabled a discussion of what works, what might not, and what’s new for Geography Awareness Week (GAW) in 2016. After addressing the history and types of parks, this interactive session highlighted relevant resources from the Kansas Geographic Alliance.
