Memorial Parks
Memorials are a great way to fuse history with park recreation. Whether it’s a gravesite, a historic landmark, or a commemorative statue, memorials offer a way for people to connect with major events that happened in the past.
Major battles, tragedies, and accomplishments live on in as memories embedded within the landscape. Our brains can’t manage everything that has happened in the past, which is why we consecrate certain places to serve as a landscape neuropathway.
