The National Council for Geographic Education (NCGE) has graciously agreed to allow for a free, limited time download of content and pedagogical readings of potential value to a civil rights-themed Geography Awareness Week. Readings will remain available until December 15, 2017. The readings are chapters from the recently published edited volume Teaching Ethnic Geography in the 21st Century (2014), edited by Lawrence E. Estaville, Edris J. Montalvo, and Fenda A. Akiwumi. A complete copy of the book can be purchased at the NCGE store.
